Monthly Singing Circles

Music isn’t something separate from daily life - it is how people gather, celebrate, mourn, and stay connected.

Every culture carries songs that live through the voices of its people. These melodies are not only artistic expressions—they are vessels of memory, language, and tradition passed from generation to generation. Singing together has long been one of the simplest and most powerful ways for communities to preserve their cultural heritage: gathering to celebrate, mourn, remember, and remain connected to one another.

These circles are an invitation to revive that tradition—to create a shared space where songs can live again through collective voices.

We begin with Turkish folk melodies, honoring the rich musical heritage of Anatolia, but the vision extends beyond any single culture: to nurture a living archive of songs where different languages, traditions, and cultural memories can be shared in the same spirit of openness and care.

No musical or language background is required. Just come as you are, bring your curiosity, and lend your voice to the circle.

  • Join us for a grassroots gathering of voices exploring Turkish folk melodies.

    We’ll learn by ear.
    We’ll sing in repetition.
We’ll let the songs carry us.

No Turkish required. No experience needed.
Just bring your voice and an open heart.
